Scottie Walkerden started his criterium season in style last night with a win in B grade at Sandown.  He came out of the corner in 5th wheel and then on the windy side, opened up his sprint.

After doing a power test last week, Scott realised he has a lot of power and it was time to unleash it.  Some encouraging words from Bob before the race made Scott realise a top 5 result was not only possible but was what the coaches expected of him.  With the expectation set, he didn’t disappoint and timed his run to the line perfectly.

Well done Scottie.  A fantastic result mate.
