Getting Started

If you are keen to be coached by Kelly Cycle Coaching and take your cycling to the next level, here is what you need to do.

Firstly:

Send an email to Helen Kelly (helen@kellycycling.com.au) and tell me you’re interested in being coached.

For insurance purporses, every person who starts with Kelly Cycle Coaching, needs to return a signed Terms of Services form. 

Also, please complete the Program Start Form below:

What to do next?

  1. Complete and email the Program Start form and Terms of Services form to me. I will then set up a convenient time to get you started.
  2. Training Peaks is the web-based platform used to prepare your program, review your rides and communicate with you. You should go ahead and set up a Training Peaks premium account which can be paid via an annual subscription or month by month.  Once you have set up your Training Peaks account I can then be linked to your premium account, as your coach. 
  3. The initial planning and athlete assessment process costs $150 and involves discussing your cycling goals, understanding any previous injuries, history of cycling, discussing current fitness levels and teaching you to use the web-based platform, Training Peaks.  This process involves some emails to gather information from you as well as a skype or phone call.

Individual training program
You will receive a personalised monthly training program written to suit your ability, goals and commitments.  You are able to communicate with me by phone, What’s App, skype, email or through the web-based coaching platform, Training Peaks.

Online diary and logging data
Training Peaks can be accessed via the Training Peaks app or from a computer.  It is very easy to use and interfaces with most devices including wahoo, zwift, polar and garmin. Click here to learn more about Training Peaks.

As a coach, after being given access to your account, I can see your data, provide feedback and comments on your sessions and races, and adjust your program to suit changes to your energy levels and your commitments.
