Bob and Helen have created a new National Road Series team, the Macdonald Shaw Cycling team, that they will be directing and managing. The first race will be at the Bay Criterium Series with riders being selected to join this team, from the athletes we coach. For younger Kelly Cycle Coaching riders, they now have a professional development team to aspire to be a part of, as their performance improves.
We give special thanks to Greg Macdonald (owner of the Macdonald Shaw recruiting firm) who is the major financial contributor to this team. Along with Greg, we also thank the other team sponsors, Walkinshaw Performance (Tony Harris and Alan Hale – and providing the team with a super-charged wagon), Fitzroy Cycles (Bill Hocking) and Mark Cummings (Powered by Cummquott).
