Kelly Cycle Coaching has been coaching an U19 rider Nick Bien, who has recently converted from runner to cyclist.  He seems to have made the transition look easy as he has progressed quickly from C grade up to B grade in recent weeks.

His recent results include:

• coming 3rd at C grade at Sandown 3 weeks ago
• winning C grade at Sandown the following week and being promoted to B grade
• continuously attacking and eventually breaking away and to win B grade solo at Glenvale 5 days later
• completing his hat trick by winning B grade at Sandown two days later.

Well done Nick.

You have applied yourself well to the training and it is now to starting to show.  Nick also improved his 1n20 hillclimb personal best time in the recent uphill time trial by 30sec, posting a time of exactly 15mins.

Perhaps also, it is his new Specialised Tarmac that is helping him ride so fast!!

Other results at Sandown this week include:

• Michael Hale finished 6th in A grade and
• Sean McIver won C grade for the second week in a row
