Long Weekend Training
This long weekend is an ideal opportunity to come and train with Bob and Helen and get ready for the next few Selection races.
Details of training:
Sunday 13 June: 8am start
Location: 17 McNamara Street, Macleod
This training session will consist of time trial efforts, surge/recovery efforts and some sprint practice on mainly undulating terrain.
Monday14 June: 8am start
Location: 17 McNamara Street, Macleod
This training session will be a hard climbing day consisting of SE efforts, uphill threshold efforts, uphill sprints, etc, on very hilly terrain.
All Kelly Cycle Coaching athletes need to bring adequate warm clothing and be prepared for weather changes during the ride. Remember to bring:
- 2 tubes and bike pump
- 2 drink bottles (one with water and one with sports drink)
- training food (wrapped up sandwiches, muesli bars, cake, etc)
- warm clothing (rain jacket, long sleeved jersey, windvest and arm warmers, knee/leg warmers, long fingered gloves, etc)
As usual, please check the radar before you leave home. If it looks too wet and therefore too dangerous, we will cancel training and let you know via a text message.
