1n20 Hillclimb

On Sunday, a number of Kelly Cycle coaching athletes, along with Bob and Helen raced up the 1n20 hillclimb in the Dandenong ranges on Sunday.  A few of you may of heard about the bet Bob and Helen had to see who was fastest.  Bob even secretly sent a request to the organisers, asking to start behind Helen to judge his catch, but he ended up being put in B grade, a grade higher than Helen so he started some 15mins behind Helen.

So who won?  Well, Bob easily won by 1min30sec but Helen was heard mumbling excuses about a saddle bolt that came lose and gears that changed automatically the entire way up the climb.  But this event was only the prelude to the real world Champs that resume this Sunday at Glenvale. Stay tuned.

There were some great times in A, B and C grade where we all raced on Sunday.

Well done to Drew Morey who won C grade (15min43sec), and this time would have placed him 14th in A grade.
