School holiday training

We are running an intensive holidays training program suitable for all abilities.

Details of our sessions are:

Saturday 26th June:
Jack Gowen Handicap Carnegie Club race – Modella

Sunday 27th June:
Kew ITT or Ride with us.
Undulating ride with some strength efforts
Location: 17 McNamara Street, Macleod
Time: 8am

Tuesday 29 June:
Hilly ride including strength efforts and strength endurance climbing

Time: 8am

A pre race stretch

Wednesday 30 June:
TT training.  For those preparing for Eildon and/or State Titles, please put your aero bars on your bike for this ride. 
Those not doing these two events are still more than welcome to come along and can do threshold efforts in the drops.

Thursday 1 July:
Flat ride including power efforts, sprint training and working turns in a group

Hilly ride including threshold and strength climbing

Long Endurance ride – KFC ride

Tuesday 6 July:
Hilly ride including some threshold efforts and sprints

Wednesday 7 July:
Flat ride.  High cadence efforts and focus on skills and tactics

Thursday 8 July:
Easier shorter ride with some short sprint efforts

Power/lactate and heart rate testing
All athletes should try to organise to be tested in the first week of the school holidays, unless you have been tested recently.
