Kelly Cycle Coaching wishes Carol all the very best as she departs for Europe on Monday for her final preparations before competing in the London Paralympics.

Carol will be competing in the time trial on 4 September and the road race on 6 September.

For those who have known Carol since she started cycling, she has improved in leaps and bounds, embracing the training with enthusiasm and joy.  She clearly loves what she does and after 37 years of trying to make it to the Olympics, she is now realising her dream of competing as a Paralympian.

KCC Camp – Bright Chalet

Don’t miss out – places are filling up fast!  This camp is limited to 30 riders.

Starts: Sunday 23 September (arrive approx 4pm).

Ends: Friday 28 September (depart approx 1pm)

Cost: KCC athletes $500.              Non KCC coached athletes $600.

What’s includes: Coached rides (Level 2 coaches), skill sessions, tactics and team riding, evening lectures, accommodation for 5 nights (Sun to Fri) and 3 meals per day included (breakfast, lunch and dinner).   This is an excellent chance to do some bunch riding, and to train over the Tour of Bright stages.

Year 11 & 12 athletes will have compulsory afternoon study sessions as needed.
